Financial Controller (Remote) - Purple Cow Internet

Key Responsibilities:

Lead daily accounting operations across AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger using Xero accounting software. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with variance analysis. Coordinate year-end processes Develop and monitor budgets to drive efficiency and cost control. Manage cash flow forecasting and treasury functions. Strengthen accounting policies, internal controls, and best practices. Partner with operations to align receivables, payables, and expenditures with budgets. Coach and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional growth.

Qualifications:

CPA designation (or actively working toward it) preferred. 3-5 years in a senior accounting role (Controller, Assistant Controller, or equivalent). Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and corporate finance. Proficiency in Xero accounting software. Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop and inspire a team. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
