About Us The DPF Company Inc. is a young, fast-growing national company that specializes in cleaning all kinds of After Treatment filters, from DPF\xe2\x80\x99s, DOC\xe2\x80\x99s, SCR\xe2\x80\x99s, and EGR\xe2\x80\x99s. Here is the link to our website showing more of what we do: www.thedpfcompany.com. Purpose/Job Role: A pivotal role in managing and leading the finance team. Overseeing all accounting processes, ensuring timely preparation and publication of monthly financial statements, and conducting comprehensive financial statement analyses. Instrumental in supporting the year-end process, facilitating the preparation of externally generated financial statements and tax returns. Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Team management: Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results. Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees. Manage time of the DPF accounting team. Conduct team meetings and 1:1 sessions.
• Accounting Management: Oversee and manage all accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial statement analysis to provide insights into the company\'s financial performance.
• Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow effectively, including forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
• Business Expansion: Proactively monitor business expansion projects, providing financial insights and guidance.
• Financial Integration: Lead financial integration efforts in newly established locations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements in each new jurisdiction.
• Government Reporting: Manage compliance with statutory government reporting requirements and oversee timely tax payments.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements, including a thorough review of operating results.
• Year-End Support: Support the year-end process and facilitate the timely preparation of externally prepared financial statements and tax returns.
• Insurance Management: Keep insurance coverage up to date with current values to mitigate risks.
• Internal Controls: Develop and document accounting policies as required to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Continuous Development: Actively participate in continuous professional development, staying abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices. Implement learnings to enhance financial processes and contribute to the overall growth of the finance team.

Required Experience and Skills

• Proven working experience as a Financial Controller or a similar role.
• 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
• Advanced degree in Accounting (CPA preferred).
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience with creating financial statements.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Exceptional leadership qualities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office \xe2\x80\x93 Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Good general knowledge of Canadian and US sales and income tax legislation.
