Rodd Hotels & Resorts is the largest privately owned hotel company in Atlantic Canada. With 7 properties located in Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick, that include hotel accommodation, food service, and conference facilities. Role Description: We are looking for a full-time Financial Controller to join our team at Rodd Hotels & Resorts Management Office in Charlottetown, PE. The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, including financial statements, financial reporting, and accounting. The Financial Controller will also be responsible for providing analytical support to the organization and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Qualifications: Strong financial statements and financial reporting skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Previous experience in accounting principles of hospitality considered an asset
CPA designation required Job Type: Full-time Salary: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year Benefits:
