Job Description

Our Vancouver client, a successful development company, is looking to hire a dynamic Financial Analyst.

The Financial Analyst will:

• Evaluate and provide financial analysis of market conditions and trends relevant for senior managers to make decisions on the financing, acquisition, marketing, and leasing of properties
• Creating and running updated financial models on existing assets and/or acquisitions, utilizing financial tools such as Argus , Excel and DCF
• Source, consolidate, analyze, and model financial data, including pro forma budget analysis and cashflow and income statement forecasting
• Creating and maintaining financial management and investor reports, including financial snapshots and qualitative summaries
• Recommending improvements to reporting systems
• Collaborate with senior managers in a team environment in the underwriting, due diligence and modeling for new developments, and current assets and future acquisitions.

Requirements

Minimum Education, Work Experience and Computer Skills:

• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Marketing, or Real Estate.
• Have strong research abilities, analytical, computer, and excellent communication and organizational skills
• Possess at least 3 years of relevant work experience with development properties and income-producing properties
• Computer skills - Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Database systems. GIS experience and interest and the ability to work with mapping software and techniques (ESRI and Google Earth Pro) is a plus as is a working knowledge of graphic design software
• Team player with capability to work within the team, and work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment.
