About the Opportunity
- Responsible for month-end and year-end closing procedures as it relates to fixed assets and capital spend. This includes balance sheet and P&L account reconciliations and fixed asset continuity schedules.
- Prepare & reconcile all fixed asset & capital funding related consolidated continuity schedules
- Maintain and manage capital budgets & associated spend
- Maintain the Fixed Asset subledger ensuring that all capitalizations/disposals adhere to policy.
- Assist managers with budgets and forecasts as it related to capital spend.
- University Degree with an accounting designation or near completion.
- 4-5 years of relevant experience within full-cycle accounting (including fixed asset accounting).
- Experience with SAP is mandatory.
- Advanced/expert Excel skills
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and customer service skills
- Detail oriented and takes initiative
