About the role:
- Post month end journals.
- Review AP entries
- Reconcile GL accounts - Inventory, accounts receivables, etc.
- Assist in updating monthly reports
- Assist with internal audit control testing
- Preparing GST/PST/HST returns
- Monthly variance analysis (actual to plan)- explanation of variance
- Provide supplementary & ad-hoc reporting / analysis as required
- Minimum 3 years of full-cycle accounting / finance experience
- Degree or diploma from an accredited Canadian college or university
- Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment and meet deadline in a timely manner
- Strong communication skills and ability to deal with people at all levels
