Our well recognized and reputable large scale client is looking to add a Financial Analyst to their team. As the Financial Analyst you will had a wide variety of responsibilities including but not limited to Margin Reports, Finance Forecasting, Debt and Loan Reporting and preparing Financial Proposals when required. In this position, you will also perform financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. This Financial Analyst role is located in the Ottawa, Ontario, and it is a permanent on-site employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver effective Business Intelligence to provide valuable foresight and decision support
- Work with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process
- Explain and understand internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending
- Prepare and submit financial documents as requested from various project divisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to ensure plans are executed properly
- Work with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning - Project-specific financing proposals
- Edit and manage forecasting reports
- Coordinating project financial logistics
- Analyze performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities
- Additional Ad-hoc tasks as necessary

Qualifications:
- 2+ years of finance and/or accounting experience
- CPA professional designation
- Outstanding attention to detail and highly organized
- Brilliant oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Equity Loans
- Ability to work in a high volume setting while meeting tight deadlines
- Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Cash Flow Analysis experience preferred
- Solid understanding of project accounting
- Skilled in Spreadsheet and ERP system
- Desire to simplify complex problems and build solutions
- Proven use of SQL and VBA or similar is preferred
