What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do

The Financial Analyst, Finance Operations Analytics is a key member of the Finance Shared Services team who provides operational metrics and analytics to help stakeholders understand opportunities and drivers of performance. The incumbent will provide and refine operational reporting and KPIs to drive improvements and process changes across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll functions.

Collaborate and work closely with Finance Shared Services managers to develop operational KPIs and performance reporting.

Create, generate and synthesize moderate to complex financial analysis related to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions. Automate report generation as required.

Support the budgeting, forecasting and reporting of operating expenses and assist with monthly variance reviews.

Prepare and complete analysis on business-driven initiatives. Review and interpret analysis and present recommendations to Management.

Draw meaningful conclusions/insights from large amounts of data. Adapt to multiple data repositories and systems, as required, to create comprehensive views of business units across the enterprise.

Develop and deliver financial metric dashboards to be utilized by management.

Build financial models and executive dashboards for decision support.

Provide client stakeholders with accurate, timely and insightful reporting on key performance indicators and actively play a role in driving efficiency.

Manage multiple requests in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.

Actively work to enhance knowledge of procure-to-pay and contract-to-cash processes, data flows and systems.

What you bring

University degree or College diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative discipline.

2+ years experience in a role with a focus on financial analysis or analytics.

Experience with data manipulation and spreadsheet modelling. Comfortable working with large data sets and developing executive reports and presentations.

Advance working knowledge pf MS Excel: pivot tables, power-pivot, complex formulas and capacity to generate and maintain macros. Experience with SQL and Power BI tools is considered an asset.

Ability to understand complex business workflows that integrate with business areas and understand upstream and downstream impacts of issues.

Enthusiastic team player with an inquisitive, innovative and growth mindset.

Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and complete deliverables on a timely manner.

Critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze and visualize, to ensure continuous improvement across our entire business.

Collaborative style with superior influencing skills

Strong customer service skills including efficiently and effectively responding to inquiries.
