Job Description

:The Financial Analyst assists in the review and analysis of financial and accounting information from various sources and assists in reporting for Redpath Mining Inc. (RMI).Responsibilities:Duties and responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and related information for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
• Working in an automated environment with a variety of accounting systems in use for different purposes (Oracle Fusion ERP, Hyperion Financial Management Consolidation, Essbase Reporting, Vena Forecast/Budget, LeaseBOX, etc.)
• Reviewing and submitting Revenue/Cost Report, Project Variance Analysis Report, Work In Hand to senior management.
• Assisting with gathering audit requirements
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts for smaller entities within the group
• Working with global subsidiary teams where they have questions with the reporting processes
• Assisting with ad hoc requests for information from management and other departments
• General accounting duties as assigned
• Maintain confidentiality with respect to Redpath financial, employee and client information

Qualifications:Education

• Required: College diploma in Accounting or related
• Preferred: University degree in Accounting, working towards a professional accounting designation

Work Experience:

• Required: Two (2) years accounting/finance related experience

• MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• Oracle Fusion
• Hyperion Financial Management
• SharePoint
