The Financial Analyst at ERP Buddies will be responsible for the research, analysis, preparation, review, implementation and monitoring of corporate strategy and policy initiatives related to financial controls, internal controls and risk management. The Financial Analyst will also provide advice on financial controllership and accountability frameworks. Responsibilities:
  • Timely and accurate invoice create and finalize invoice and submit to clients.
  • Providing information for client\xe2\x80\x99s vendor set up and payment instructions to customers in a timely manner.
  • Applying payments to invoices and providing account statements when needed.
  • Accurately creating credit notes and revising invoices as per Management\xe2\x80\x99s instructions.
  • Accurately entering invoices and preparing cheques.
  • Verifying and approving staff expenses. Generating reports for reviewing and payment processing.
  • Supports the preparation of journal entries, monthly / quarterly reporting packages and financial statements, including applicable tax payments and reconciliations, in accordance with accounting rules and standards.
  • Preparing and entering credit card transactions.
  • Perform credit card reconciliation on weekly basis.
  • Performing bank account reconciliation on weekly basis.
  • Generating HST reports
  • Gather information (i.e. revenue, expenses, and headcount information) from business to develop annual financial and headcount plan, as well as projections for critical metrics
  • Prepare reports and projections based on analysis
  • Evaluate current capital expenditures and depreciation
  • Explore investment opportunities
  • Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Provide financial models and forecasting
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of previous work experience as of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study desirable
  • Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks/ NetSuite.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, multi-tasking, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, professional manner and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple clients.
