• Actively participate in the monthly and quarterly consolidation process, as well as in the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
• Prepare journal entries and analyses on various subjects related to corporate accounting (long-term debt, share capital, financial instruments, etc.).
• Actively contribute to the drafting and review of notes to the quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, including proposing improvements or modifications based on transactions.
• Prepare accounting and other analyses and recommendations to identify impacts and guide the Company\'s decisions.
• Act as a business partner to the various sectors in day-to-day transactions, while ensuring compliance with Company policies.
• Maintain essential procedures and processes to ensure that the Company\'s financial information complies with IFRS standards.
• Participate in various ad hoc projects related to the consolidation and preparation of internal and external financial statements.
• Participate in the preparation and drafting of the Company\'s pension plan financial statements.
• Collaborate actively with the external auditors during quarterly reviews and the annual audit.

When your expertise drives us.

• Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or finance
• CPA accounting designation validated or in the process of being obtained.
• You have 1 to 3 years\' experience, if possible, in a public company or accounting firm
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and willingness to learn different accounting and consolidation software (PeopleSoft and Longview among others).
• Bilingualism (French and English), as daily communication with North American operations is essential to the position. Knowledge of Spanish (an asset)
