:The Opportunity:WSP Global is looking for a Financial Analyst, Corporate Accounting for providing analytical support for the monthly, quarterly, annual and forecasted end-of-period process for WSP's head office to ensure accuracy and clarity of financial statements and simplify the regional reporting process at the consolidated level.   • Provide analytical and consolidation support to WSP's Financial Services.
  • Reconcile and maintain the balance sheet accounts to identify the various end-of-period entries.
  • Analyze profit and loss accounts to identify budget variances and record appropriate provisions.
  • Ensure monthly foreign exchange gain/loss analysis to meet accounting, tax, consolidated, and management needs.
  • Implement tools and strategies to translate raw data into information that meets accounting, tax, and management needs.
  • Reconcile and confirm intercompany transactions with the different regions.
  • Produce the reports required for the consolidation process.
  • Produce various analyses to support the tax department in the production of tax provisions and reports.
  • Execute special projects in collaboration with other groups within the company, notably the financial performance, intercompany billing, insurance and internal audit teams.
What you'll bring to WSP:
  • University degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA designation considered an asset.
  • 1-3years experience in financial analysis or accounting.
  • Strong technical, analytical and systems skills; extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting.
  • Very analytical and detail-oriented.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle situations with people at a global scale.
  • Knowledge of the accounting system Oracle Fusion and the consolidation system HFM Hyperion an asset.
  • Experience and knowledge in the field of IT (language, tools, etc.).
