Let's grow together!Financial Analyst - Complex accounting and special projectsDepartment: Global FinanceLocation: Laval, QC (4204 boulevard Industriel, H7L 0E3)Hybrid work: 3 days at the office and 2 days remotelyType of employment: Permanent, Full Time (40 hours)THE ROLEAs part of Alimentation Couche-Tard's head office team, you will support the Complex Accounting team by handling complex accounting issues, supporting in acquisitions, and ensuring compliance with internal governance practices. Your role will be pivotal as you work closely with various departments, ensuring seamless project execution and driving our team towards success. Your keen analytical skills and collaborative spirit will be crucial to our achievements.WHAT YOULL DOHere are just a few ways that youll help make journeys better:

• Analyze and resolve intricate accounting problems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accuracy in financial reporting;
• Assist in due diligence, financial analysis, and documentation for acquisition-related activities;
• Take ownership of assigned special projects, ensuring timely and effective completion;
• Coordinate and support the integration of merged or acquired entities into the company's existing structure; and
• Monitor and enforce adherence to corporate governance best practices and internal policies.

WHAT YOULL NEEDWe want you to join our team! Here's what we're looking for:Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting Option
• Hold a CPA designation (or in the process of obtaining it)

Experience:

• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience;

Knowledge and skills:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities;
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment;
• Ability to manage priorities while respecting deadlines;
• Be available to travel occasionally (1-2 weeks per year).

Language skills

• Bilingualism required (French and English), both written and spoken, as the person will be called upon to serve English-speaking regions.
