About this opportunity:
As a reporting analyst you will collaborate to ensure alignment between business partners. An essential part of the role is to maintain networks within the broader downstream operational teams, finance teams and performance networks.
In this role you will provide strong governance over the way manufacturing sites and supporting functions to the manufacturing sites collects, manage, monitor, and report on performance. Ability to maintain existing reporting dashboards and find opportunities to digitalize data and reports.
Identify, plan and implement key improvement initiatives in Finance to improve analysis quality, reduce reporting duplication, increase productivity and improve cycle time by reducing wasted time, rework, etc. resulting in significant business improvement and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
Perform G&A Accounting and master data maintenance. SOX Compliance
Perform Allocation reviews and journal entries.
Investigate and resolve Audit queries.
Lead Gross Margin Reconciliation, segmented note sign off, co-ordinate consolidation reporting based on value chain reporting.
Provide assurance that business unit financial statements align with business activities and accounting policies.
Provide analysis to support Management Discussion and Analysis and press release information.
Consolidate financial results for Toledo Refining Asset.
Liaise with business operations to receive their performance monthly report to be incorporated into the Downstream Operated Consolidated report.
Work with the business to identify and assist in implementation of corrective actions to close variances.
Support the business in identifying and managing operational risk within the scope of Downstream accounting.
Provide financial information in support of business KPIs.
Respond to ad hoc requests and participate in ad hoc projects as required
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree with a specialization in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics is an asset
5 years of financial analysis experience
Strong analytical, financial control, reporting skills; Able to interpret and communicate financial information with clarity
Ability to provide guidance in all financial areas including reporting and planning
Ability to interact with all levels of management in a professional manner
Good understanding of how Finance processes and systems operate
Working experience with SAP
Strong impact, interpersonal, networking and communication skills and able to make a significant contribution to local management team
