75k and upPerks:
Company benefits, 2-3 weeks of vacation, RRSPs, 5% bonus eligibility
Working in a team of 7Duties:
Work schedule: 2 days in Concord, 2 days in Mississauga, 1 day from home (hybrid starts after 3 months)
- Monthly, quarterly, year-end close and physical inventory counts for two locations
- Will be dealing with both companies
- Review all accounting records
- Prepare balance sheet, daily bank reconciliation
- Maintain fixed asset subledger
- Post all payroll related entries and accruals
- Coordinate with cross functional teams
- Costing
- Other ad-hoc and accounting duties as required
- Food manufacturing/production background
- CPA or equivalent experience (someone in pursuit of their CPA is okay, too)
- Accounting degree or diploma
- Flawless communication
- Must be OK working in a manufacturing/production setting- worked in one before
- Must be OK wearing CSA approved steel toe safety boots or shoes when doing inventory counts- can buy a new pair each year from the company
