Stone Creek Resorts Inc. is a well-established Alberta company that delivers our signature hospitality and luxury lifestyle experiences at our owned and operated world-class golf resorts Silvertip Resort - Canmore, AB, and Eagle Ranch Resort - Invermere, BC. With a large-scale multiyear development plan for residential and resort accommodations, associated commercial uses, Silvertip Resort is one of Canada\'s largest resort real estate developments.We are looking for a dedicated Financial Accountant to join our team at the Stone Creek Resorts head office in Calgary, AB. This role is crucial for maintaining our financial integrity and supporting our resorts in achieving their financial goals.Job Responsibilities:Accounts Payable Management:

  • Oversee vendor management and ensure timely processing of invoices.
  • Handle expenditure coding and maintain proper documentation for all transactions.
  • Assist leaders in the invoice approval workflow to ensure timely approvals.
Inventory Analysis:
  • Assist in the implementation of inventory management systems and processes.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Analyze product movement and margins, recommending improvements for process efficiency.
  • Provide reporting on inventory sales, shrinkage and overall inventory exceptions.
Accounts Receivable Management:
  • Oversee customer setup, invoicing, collections, and bank deposits.
  • Follow up on customer payments and reconcile accounts with the general ledger.
Cash Management:
  • Balance cash on hand and reconcile to general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare weekly bank reconciliations for two resorts within Sage Intacct.
Sales Management:
  • Upload sales data for both resorts on a weekly basis.
  • Reconcile sales across different revenue streams and ensure accuracy with the general ledger.
Special Projects:
  • As required.
Requirements:
  • Good understanding of accounting principles.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct is definite asset.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • 5 years of relevant, hands-on accounting experience.
  • Proficiency with computers, accounting software and advanced excel skills.
  • Knowledge of demand forecasting and supply chain optimization a nice to have.
  • Ability to travel to the resorts up to 40% during May through September
