Role Overview



The Finance Operations Coordinator is the backbone of our financial accuracy and operational efficiency. This mid-level role ensures timely client billing, accurate payroll, and meticulous bookkeeping while supporting strategic financial decisions. You will work closely with the leadership team to maintain compliance, optimize cash flow, and deliver actionable insights that strengthen our security services.

Key Responsibilities



Billing & Accounts Receivable

Prepare and issue client invoices promptly. Monitor AR aging reports and proactively manage collections to minimize payment delays. Communicate professionally with clients regarding billing inquiries and overdue accounts.

Payroll Administration

Process bi-weekly payroll for security officers and staff accurately and on time. Maintain compliance with provincial labor laws and company policies. Handle deductions, benefits, and reconciliations.

Bookkeeping & Financial Records

Record daily transactions and maintain accurate ledgers. Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Reporting & Analysis

Prepare financial summaries for leadership team's review. Track KPIs such as DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), AR turnover, and payroll accuracy. Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives.

Compliance & Controls

Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and audit requirements. Maintain confidentiality and data security at all times.

Qualifications



Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3+ years of experience in billing, AR, payroll, and bookkeeping. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $51,176.29-$70,000.00 per year
