Job Summary

This role is dedicated to the E2E management, reporting and governance of a portfolio of finance projects aligned to the Finance strategic objectives and geared towards improving efficiencies and effectiveness across the Finance organization. The Finance Manager Integration and Training works in conjunction with the Corporate Project Management Office, our Change Management Team, IT as well as the finance teams to deliver projects on time and on budget in order to enhance the finance department's operational performance.

The incumbent will support the Finance Leadership Team by delivering added new value activities by providing insights and identifying areas for improvement that will increase organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • In Partnership with the PMO group and IT, drive systems forward for financial systems.
  • Be a hands-on Project Manager with expectations to capture requirements and lead Finance and technical teams
  • Lead M&A financial systems integrations.
  • Raise and resolve issues, monitor risks and call out appropriately when required.
  • Ensure on-time delivery & quality of agreed upon scope.
  • Lead project communications including status reports to all team members.
  • Work closely with various team (including both business and technical staff), internal and external partners to understand, capture information and synthesize findings into business/functional requirements and design documents.
  • Finance PMO for all M&A integration activities and processes impacting the finance team.
  • Develop training materials and deliver financial systems training.
  • In collaboration with the HR change management team, coordinate the financial change management on current and newly implemented financial systems and tools. Lead change to drive financial systems execution.
Qualifications & experience
  • Bachelor's degree (equivalent) in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field.
  • Chartered Public Accountant (CPA) and/or MBA
  • PMP, CBAP, and ITIL certification considered a strong asset
  • Proven ability in Project Management and Business Analysis
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant finance business partnering experience in M&A
