The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of our businesses, including accounting, payroll, budgeting, financial reporting, tax compliance, and cash flow management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Odoo ERP, be detail-oriented, and have a strong understanding of financial best practices for small to mid-sized businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
Oversee all financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow management.
Odoo Accounting:
Utilize Odoo to manage financial transactions, generate reports, and optimize financial workflows.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Develop and maintain budgets, financial forecasts, and performance analysis to support business decision-making.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
Tax Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal tax regulations, including corporate tax filings, HST/GST, and payroll taxes.
Cost Control & Efficiency:
Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial processes to enhance profitability.
Audit & Reconciliation:
Conduct regular financial audits, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance to ensure accuracy.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with business owners, department heads, and external accountants to ensure financial stability and strategic growth.
Process Improvement:
Continuously assess and improve financial processes and internal controls using Odoo's capabilities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in small to mid-sized businesses.
Strong hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (Accounting module is a must).
Solid knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills/
