One of our major banking clients is looking for Finance Manager - Credit Cards (Anaplan, Hyperion, Banking)
Duration: 12 months contract with potential to extension
Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (2-3 days in the office)

Requirements:
JOB DESCRIPTION
Manager, Credit Cards Finance for Canadian Personal and Commercial Banking will play a key role within the team to help with Management Reporting and Analysis. The successful candidate is a driven finance professional with strong analytical and technical skills, disciplined time management and organization skills and a keen focus on relationship management.
Works closely with Business and Finance leadership across Canadian P&C and takes initiative to understand the underlying business drivers
Works with line of business (credit cards) as well as collaborates across cross functional teams (Risk, Capital, Strategy, Product, etc.) to ensure results are accurately represented and the Key Performance Indicators of the businesses are highlighted for management discussion and analysis
Supports the monitoring and management of financial performance against plans, forecasts, initiatives and objectives
Key point of contact within Credit Cards Finance team on management reporting deliverables
Provides clear direction to partners on reporting requirements and manages timelines accordingly
Actively participates in summarizing results for monthly and quarterly business reviews
Implement a mindset of ongoing process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency as well as drive analytical insights
Maintain internal/external stakeholder relationships.
Integrates information from multiple sources (e.g. financial and operational systems) to enable more efficient processes, enhanced analysis and/or streamlined reporting.
Acts as a trusted financial advisor to assigned business/group.
Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business.
Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations.
Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Typically, between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience. (Excel, Powerpoint, Hyperion, Anaplan, etc.)
Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.
Collaboration & team skills - In-depth.
Analytical and problem-solving skills - In-depth.
Influence skills - In-depth.
