The Senior Finance Manager position open for Robert Half is for someone comfortable with having broad business engagement and impact. You might be a good fit for this position, if you can manage the process to ensure that models are correct and are fully accrued each month, verify and hold the operations team accountable to ensure end to end incentive processing, payments, accounting and related financial controls are operating effectively. The Sr Finance manager position will be located in Cambridge, Ontario ONSITE and is a long-term contract / temporary engagement. If you\'re interested in working in a very dynamic and high profile area with significant visibility at executive management level, this position will excite you!What you get to do every day- Ensure financial reporting is in accordance with accounting policy- Assist with month end responsibilities and full cycle accounting- Engage with various business partners for various program controllership and FP& A activities such as ensuring accuracy of accrual models, appropriate accounting and true-up activities and answer queries from business, area and subsidiary controllers- Continuous reviewing of actual spend against budget, as well as directing actions needed for any expected shortfalls- Capacity to assess process and internal control weaknesses and identify improvements- Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting or other relevant field- CPA and/or CMA preferred- Proven communication and negotiation skills, ability to establish trusted advisor/consultant relationships, and capability to influence Executives and Business Decision Makers- Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills- Exquisite understanding in office and accounting computer systems- Financial reporting experience preferred- Solid understanding of construction- Deep understanding of CPA- Knowledge of ERP system preferred- 5+ years professional accounting and controllership or public accounting and internal controls experience and/or Internal Audit or Controls and Compliance- Prior background in engaging virtually with teams around the globe and providing leadership across finance teamsRobert Half is the world\'s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
