What you will do Help our business make informed decisions. You will work closely with our finance team to ensure accurate data entry and to provide timely information, including financial reporting and analysis.
This role is designed as a combination of a Financial Clerk and a Financial Analyst. There is an opportunity to progress into a Financial Analyst through a training and development program.

A day in the life Reporting to the Controller, your job duties include:

• Ensure accurate data entry of financial transactions and journal entries
• Collect, organize, and analyze financial data from internal and external sources and provide updates to senior managers
• Manage accounts payable process for invoice processing and cheque issuance
• Produce financial reports and models to support senior management in making decisions in line with the organization\'s business strategy
• Assist with accounts receivable process, including verification, payment entry, and manual bank deposits
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation
• Work closely with department heads and develop regular performance reports to help identify areas for improvement
• Participate in quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting for the business
• Undertake special analysis projects at the direction of the Controller and Chief Operating Officer
