The Opportunity:

Focused on driving business success, the Sr. HR Business Partner is a member of the business leadership team, providing confidential counsel to Senior and Executive level leadership in our Corporate organizations, specifically to the Finance organization. This role is a strategic and operational in nature, with an assigned client base, working to ensure the company achieves its business goals and objectives.

The Sr. HRBP acts as an internal consultant and resource, who proactively supports the unique needs of their function. Key areas of focus and consultation include: Leadership Development, Organizational Design and Restructuring, Talent Management and Workforce planning; Total Rewards; Employee Relations, and Employee Engagement. In addition, this role will partner with their assigned function to identify and resolve critical issues, while working alongside our HR COE (Centre's of Excellence) to implement programs that align with Global HR Corporate objectives.

You are great at:

  • Applying strategic focus with regards to talent planning, employee engagement and organizational design efforts. Leading the business through the delivery of key programs in support of strategic goals.
  • Partnering with leadership teams to understand key business priorities and talent impact, while leveraging data to support future planning
  • Communicating HR priorities and goals with leaders to ensure an effective partnership, change management support, and timely implementation of plans
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on the execution of Corporate Programs and Initiatives (Performance, Compensation Planning, M&A, Restructuring, Policy changes & Compliance Activity)
  • Communicating business initiatives and talent-related priorities to the extended HR team
What it takes:
  • 10+ years of Human Resource experience in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist capacity
  • Customer-focused with proven relationship-building strengths and solid experience developing workforce plans based on business goals
  • Strong business acumen, evidencing the use of insights in the business environment to improve talent and business outcomes
  • Strong analytic capability to identify and diagnose pressing business challenges, uncover insights to enhance decision making and can align organizational strategy to talent decisions
  • Strong project management skills
  • Comfort and ability to thrive in a high change fasted paced environment, with strong change management experience
  • University degree, preferably in business/Human Resources, or equivalent combination of education/experience
