Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join a dynamic HR team located in Senneville, QC., with the opportunity to work on a hybrid office schedule.

In this role, primary responsibilities include:

  • Guide, advise and support leaders in talents management, performance management, succession planning, workforce planning, change management, as well as activities aimed at encouraging team building and recognition;
  • Act as a strategic partner by identifying labor opportunities issues such as skills and talents development, staff retention and mobilization;
  • Implement actions to support and meet operational needs;
  • Recommend practical and creative solutions aimed at promoting leaders\' autonomy and development;
  • Coach and support leaders in the interpretation and application of laws and internal policies;
  • Collaborate with our Talent Acquisition Team to attract the best talent and meet the business requirements in terms of workforce planning;
  • Participate in the development of new policies, procedures and programs;
  • Collaborate with the Business by presenting KPIs and providing HR recommendations thanks to analytics;
  • Manage work-related files, including disciplinary measures;
  • Represent the employer during hearings before administrative tribunals;
  • Identify, develop and implement training plans;
  • Coach and develop employees, managers but also other HR team members;
  • Act as facilitator in change management;
  • Works in close collaboration with other team members in all areas of Human Resources management and planning.
Key Elements

We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations management, combined with at least 3 years of relevant experience as an HR generalist;
  • Excellent knowledge of employment and human resources laws in Quebec (including proven experience on how to independently manage disciplinary files);
  • Capacity to positively influence surrounding people;
  • Fluently bilingual, oral and written (French and English);
  • Mentoring and coaching capabilities;
  • Excellent collaborative behavior and hand-on capabilities.

About Safety Assessment
Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance. From individual specialty toxicology and IND enabling studies to tailored packages and total laboratory support, our deeply experienced team can design and execute programs that anticipate challenges and avoid roadblocks for a smooth, efficient journey to market. Each year approximately 300 investigational new drug (IND) programs are conducted in our Safety Assessment facilities.
