Reporting to the Senior Manager, Credit & Administration, the Finance Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Finance Team. The ideal candidate is diplomatic, professional, personable, detail-oriented, organized, sharp, quick on their feet and able to juggle multiple tasks in an ever-changing work environment, all with enthusiasm and discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Providing all-encompassing administrative support including but not limited to opening/sending out mail, processing invoices and expenses, keeping track of follow-up items and maintaining files
  • Processing weekly AP cheque run
  • Providing support to employees on corporate credit, reconciling corporate credit cards and following up with merchant services when required
  • Assist with SOX yearly review process
  • Responsible for processing monthly studio billing, following up on outstanding invoices and issuing adjustments when required
  • Assist and follow up on banking inquires/requests
  • Providing support on a variety of ad-hoc projects and initiatives
  • Misc. credit duties
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Experience in accounting/finance administrative role is an asset
  • Friendly and enthusiastic personality with a professional demeanor in dealing with people
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills, with the ability to prioritize, take on multiple tasks, meet deadlines and to work in an ever-changing work environment
  • Discreet while dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
  • A passion for improving work processes for the team and for the company
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
The UMC team works in a hybrid, three days a week from our creative campus located in Liberty Village, Toronto and two days to work virtually.
