Finance Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Accounting / Finance individual to support our Calgary client on a full time, permanent basis. This role is perfect for a professional who is skilled in accounts receivable, international events accounting, and accounting functions such as balance sheets and reconciliations. If you have experience with an events-based company in a similar role, or you’re looking to build on your accounting background, we’d love to speak to you! Apply today – hiring is underway!

Responsibilities:

  • Creating sales invoices.
  • Preparing year-end reports for audit.
  • Prepare reconciliations for international events.
  • Prepare journal entries.
  • Maintain monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office including Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must be flexible to work weekends or evenings when required.
  • Pursuing a CPA designation would be considered a strong asset.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented to manage daily accounting operations.
  • Highly skilled in communication, written and spoken.
  • Fluency in French, as well as English, would be an asset.
  • A clear criminal background check would be required.
