4 Month Co-op September 11, 2023 ? December 15, 2023 Location: 500 Lakeshore Blvd West, Toronto Why This Role is Important: This role is on the FP&A team and will support a wide range of forecasting and planning activities for the bank?s Operating Expense budget, with a focus on month-end close and variance reporting. Example projects include: presentations, ad-hoc analysis and model building. Strong candidates enjoy flexing problem solving skills, have basic accounting knowledge and strong oral presentation skills. This FP&A role is very public facing and has many opportunities to work with and learn from many individuals in the company as well as other co-op students! What You?ll Do:
  • Role has an emphasis on direct operating expense analytics, forecasting and reporting as well as results consolidation
  • Preparation of various monthly scorecard reporting
  • Work with business stakeholders on a monthly basis to capture accruals and provide variance analysis to forecast
  • Incorporate efficiencies into forecasting models
  • Frequent ad-hoc requests, reports and analysis
  • Opportunity to work with other areas of FP&A (Revenue, Marketing) and Finance (Accounting)
What You Bring:
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills preferred
  • Experience using data visualization tools (i.e., Tableau, Power BI) considered an asset
  • Positive attitude ? excited to learn and contribute to improving our processes
  • Organized and excellent time management skills
  • Strong social skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be analytical and detail-oriented
