The Right Person - Not Just a Role

Location

: Hybrid - approximately 3 days per week at our Winnipeg location and 2 days per week remote.

You must be located in or near Winnipeg, Manitoba.

What the Role Could Include

Depending on your strengths and background, your role will include one or more of the following:?

Fractional CFO Services

- managing client relationships, preparing and presenting financial reports, cash flow forecasts, budgets, and KPIs, and providing business insight and guidance.

Leadership-Level Account Management

- overseeing client satisfaction and retention, establishing and maintaining best practices for client service delivery, documenting and refining internal processes, ensuring timely communication and follow-ups, gathering feedback, and leading initiatives that strengthen client relationships and operational consistency across the team.

Bookkeeping & Accounting

- organizing records, reconciliations, and supporting accurate client financials.

Executive Assistance

- scheduling, communication, and keeping operations flowing smoothly.

Technology & Systems

- improving how we use apps, integrations, and automation to streamline work.

Digital Marketing

- helping share our story through content, email, and social platforms.

Photography & Videography

- capturing and producing high-quality visuals to support our brand and marketing efforts.

Content Creation & Strategy

- developing ideas, visuals, and campaigns for social media and other digital channels.

Operations & HR

- refining processes, tracking data, and supporting workflow and team development.
We'll shape the position around your abilities and interests. The next hire will complement our existing team -- not replace it.

Who We're Looking For

You should also bring a solid foundation in finance or accounting and the ability to lead or directly support fractional CFO engagements. Up to half of this role may involve working directly with fractional CFO clients, supporting and leading client relationships, financial analysis, reporting, and strategic decision-making.

Although training will be provided, this means being comfortable managing client relationships, analyzing financial data, and providing actionable recommendations to business owners.

A university degree (or equivalent experience) in accounting, finance, business, or a related field is required, along with relevant experience in a similar capacity (e.g., controllership, financial management, or advisory services).

A professional designation (CPA, CFA, or equivalent) will be considered an asset, but is not mandatory.?

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
