Job Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the finance department by performing various administrative and clerical tasks. This role requires proficiency in financial software and strong computer skills, as well as excellent customer service abilities. The Finance Assistant will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth operations within the office.

Duties



Assist with data entry and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and other accounting software.

Manage filing systems and ensure all documents are organized and easily accessible.

Provide clerical support, including typing, proofreading, and preparing financial reports.

Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer support via multi-line phone systems.

Maintain front desk operations, greeting visitors and managing incoming communications.

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations and assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for document creation, spreadsheets, and presentations.

Support bookkeeping activities by tracking expenses, processing invoices, and reconciling accounts.

Assist with medical or dental office tasks if applicable, leveraging any relevant experience in those environments.

Skills



Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as Google Workspace applications.

Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly.

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and record keeping.

Previous office experience is preferred, including clerical duties and administrative support.

Exceptional phone etiquette with experience handling multi-line phone systems.

Ability to provide outstanding customer service in a professional manner.

Experience in a medical or dental office setting is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.71-$44.31 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
