About our Hospice: Lisaard & Innisfree Hospice brings together an interdisciplinary team of trained professionals and volunteers to deliver services that can make the dream of a peaceful, comfortable death surrounded by loved ones a reality and to fulfill the mission of hospice care by supporting the residents and their family through the end-of-life journey. Lisaard & Innisfree Hospice requires an individual to support functions related to Accounting, Donations, and Receipting. They are responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations support. Specifically, the Donor Steward will perform administrative, data entry, and office duties, supporting the Accountant, Coordinator of Fund Development, and Director of Operations. Job Responsibilities: Data Entry support: \xc2\xb7 Entering Residents Info into Donor Perfect data base. \xc2\xb7 Prepare reports as requested. Accounting responsibilities (Receipting and Banking): \xc2\xb7 Data entry into Quick Books. \xc2\xb7 Assist Accountant or Director of Operations to reconcile bank and other duties pertaining to donations. \xc2\xb7 Keep track of all incoming funds. \xc2\xb7 Provide backup to Donation volunteer. \xc2\xb7 Cash is entered into deposit sheet and taken to the bank. \xc2\xb7 Cheques are deposited through Remote Deposit machine. Copies of cheques are saved to file and report is printed and attached to deposit book as per house. \xc2\xb7 Data entry into Donor. \xc2\xb7 Assist Receipting volunteer with entering of Charitable Donation receipts when necessary. \xc2\xb7 Reprint/correct any receipts with corrections. \xc2\xb7 Enter Credit Card donations into Donor Perfect, balance, print report and receipts. \xc2\xb7 Print annual receipts. \xc2\xb7 Provide support to donors looking for info in regards to donations and provide receipts. Enter donations from all third-party donors (i.e. Canada Helps, My Tribute Gift, Pay Safe, etc.) \xc2\xb7 Demonstrates a commitment to the philosophy of hospice palliative care \xc2\xb7 Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions with all stakeholders. \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication skills, verbal and written \xc2\xb7 Excellent organizational skills \xc2\xb7 Analytical ability and aptitude in problem solving \xc2\xb7 Proficiency with Microsoft office suite \xe2\x80\x93 Word, Excel, Outlook. \xc2\xb7 Familiarity with Quick Books, and Donor Perfect. \xc2\xb7 Minimum of 3 years of office experience, preferably in a health care setting A degree or certificate in office administration or bookkeeping is an asset - Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (minimum 2 doses) is a requirement.
