Summary

We are seeking a Finance and Accountant Manager to join our dynamic team at Toute Sweet Cakes and Pastry LTD. This role is vital in managing our financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of our financial reporting. Located in Woodbridge, Ontario, you will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering consistent quality and superior service. This is a hands-on role ideal for an experienced accounting professional who can take ownership of day-to-day financial processes while also contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.

You'll work directly with ownership and senior leadership to help guide the company's financial health and support strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and month-end close Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements, reports, and dashboards for management Develop and manage the annual budget and support rolling forecasts Monitor cash flow and manage working capital needs Analyze financial results and provide insights on cost controls, margins, and business performance Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax filings, and internal controls Support inventory costing, cost of goods sold analysis, and pricing models Liaise with external accountants for year-end processes and regulatory filings Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial operations Provide ad hoc analysis and support for operational decisions and strategic planning
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA designation or CPA in progress is an asset but not requires 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management roles Experience in food manufacturing or related manufacturing or is a strong asset Strong Proficiency with QuickBooks online and Microsoft Excel and payroll software i.e ADP Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical thinking Effective communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
