Job Description

The Finance and Accounting Manager will be responsible for the overall development and management of TerraPro entity financials and financial processes.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

:

Prepare accurate and timely consolidated and business unit monthly financials in accordance. Lead, mentor, and oversee the performance of the finance team. Review existing financial and administrative business processes, practices and internal controls with the objective of improving efficiency and effectiveness. Design and implement improvements as necessary. Responsible for financial reporting and analysis, including the preparation of accurate and timely monthly financial statements, as well as year-end audit working papers. Collaborate with the executive and management team to lead budget and forecasting processes, interpret financial results, and report accounting information to key stakeholders. Responsible for review of regulatory filings and remittances (WCB, GST/PST etc.). Liaise, as required, with external parties including auditors, banks, CRA.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Undergraduate degree in Business or a related field 3-5+ years accounting and management experience Full-cycle accounting CPA designation an asset SAP Business one ERP experience an asset Power BI and UKG experience an asset
