Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and finance, with expertise in account reconciliation, budgeting, and the use of accounting software. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Oversee account reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Supervise accounts receivable and accounts payable functions to maintain cash flow and optimize working capital. Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support business objectives. Conduct account analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Ensure timely payroll processing and compliance with payroll regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that inform strategic decisions. Implement and maintain effective accounting policies and procedures using accounting software such as Sage or Xero.

Experience

Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar role within finance or accounting. Strong knowledge of account reconciliation, budgeting, payroll management, and financial analysis. Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, Xero) is highly desirable. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred; professional certifications (e.g., CPA) are a plus.

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
