Overview of the role :

You'll discover a stimulating atmosphere that fosters your professional growth in a clean and safe environment. Reporting to the Supervisor, Production, this machine operator position is responsible for the daily operation of the fluid milk filling and processing equipment.

How you will make contributions that matter:

Responsible for efficient operation of fluid processing equipment from silos to finished product.


Ensures equipment is operating at maximum performance and investigates any potential problem area.


Takes corrective action to eliminate problems and improve effectiveness


Records all necessary documentation


Tests product at various stages of processing


Routine sanitation and clean-in-place (CIP) of vessels, valves and process equipment


Follows and enforces HACCP and GMP program requirements


Responsible for general housekeeping and maintenance as required


Works in a team environment and interacts with other department employees


Performs other duties as required


This position requires rotating shift work, which could range from days/evening/weekdays and/or weekends

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

Minimum Grade 12 Education.


Good communications, analytical and troubleshooting skills


Highly self-motivated and good self-initiative


Proficiency and dependability in current position.
