VARIPERM is a diversified class leading energy service and supply company specializing in downhole tools, cased hole fishing, and rentals among a multitude of other offerings.

Corporate Headquarters and manufacturing are in Calgary, Alberta. We also have additional manufacturing facilities in Leduc, Alberta and Follows, California; the company\xe2\x80\x99s field offices are in Swift Current and Lloydminster in Saskatchewan, and Provost and Brooks in Alberta.

The Field Sales and Marketing Representative will be responsible for maintaining the company\xe2\x80\x99s current conventional/cold production client base and creating new business opportunities for the company\xe2\x80\x99s Downhole Tool, Cased Hole Fishing, and Rentals business unit. This position will be based out of the Corporate Head Office and will be 90% focused on downtown Calgary sales.

• This position will require a strong ability to engage customers in meaningful discussions about their OPEX-CAPEX spend as well as operational plans and challenges to identify opportunities for the company\xe2\x80\x99s services and solutions.
• The primary focus for this role is selling services offered from the field stations in Lloydminster, Provost, Brooks, and Swift Current.

Required skills, knowledge, and abilities:

• Post-secondary education in business or engineering would be a strong asset
• Industry experience in downhole tools for well servicing and conventional completions, cased hole fishing, rentals, and abandonments is preferred
• B2B sales experience and a current well-developed network in the Calgary market is required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional problem solving & analytical skills
• Excellent communication and client service skills; rapport building is fundamental
• Ability to maintain confidentiality & a high level of professionalism
• Time management and organizational skills

Conditions of Employment

• Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
• Overtime and travel as required
• A Driver\xe2\x80\x99s license is required
• Lifting or moving up to 20lbs may be required
