Location: Edmonton South Administration or Calgary Service Centre (Hybrid 50%)35% of this role involves travel across Alberta and Northwest Territories (approximately once every three weeks) and a company vehicle is provided for both work and personal use.

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for an RSA Field Manager to join our team.AMA Service Providers and Approved Auto Repair Service (AARS) facilities are a group of talented towing companies and owners of automotive repair facilities who are called on to provide quality service to our members in the cities and rural areas of Alberta. Reporting to the Manager, Service Provider Network and Member Relations, you\xe2\x80\x99ll get the opportunity to build and enhance relationships with AMA\xe2\x80\x99s Contracted Service Provider Network, Preferred Service Providers, AARS Shops, and members. You\xe2\x80\x99ll also be helping to recruit and select the Service Providers and AARS facilities as well as monitor their performance and provide business consulting to enhance those business relationships.WHAT MOVES YOU

WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL DO
  • Report to the Manager, Service Provider Network and Member Relations.
  • Enhance and deepen the relationship AMA has with our automotive partners by optimizing their performance and demonstrating the value AMA brings to their business.
  • Actively manage costs associated with the Rural Service Provider Network.
  • Aggressively look for process improvement opportunities that will enhance member satisfaction while reducing cost to the Association.
  • Identify potential service providers and Approved Auto Repair facilities using formal and informal processes.
  • Assist with contract negotiations and upsell the adoption of additional AMA/CAA programs.
  • Conduct scheduled visits/inspections with service providers and AARS facilities to ensure compliance with contracts and build strong relationships with contracted facility owners.
  • Counsel service providers on persistent issues that affect their performance and/or recommend/provide appropriate education or training.
  • Collaborate with service providers to understand their training needs and liaise with the Learning and Development group to identify and implement training strategies.
  • Work with other RSA operation groups, service providers/AARS facilities and members to qualify complaints/claims and then facilitate the necessary mediations to effectively resolve any issues.
  • Explain custom analytics to help service providers / AARS facilities better understand their performance and recognize opportunities to grow.
  • Organize and carry out special projects and educational courses.
WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99VE DONE
  • You have a high school diploma and a minimum of 3 years managing business relationships and/or service agreements.
  • Bonus points if you have general automotive technical knowledge and post-secondary education in business management or related discipline.
  • You have a Class 5 driver\xe2\x80\x99s license with fewer than 6 demerit points at any one time and have been driving for at least five years.
  • You will be able to pass a Canadian Criminal Record Check.
  • You have strong verbal communication skills.
  • You have experience with performance management (goal setting, measuring, monitoring and execution skills).
  • You\xe2\x80\x99ve proven that you know how to get high-quality results even within tight timelines.
  • You have experience in a fast-paced, member-centric and performance-based work environment.
  • You have good computer skills and are comfortable learning new applications and systems.
