Role Overview:
As a Field Manager, you lead the execution of experiential activations and campaigns in the field. You will supervise on-site staff, ensure brand standards are followed, manage logistics, and act as the client's and agency's in-the-moment contact to deliver smooth, impactful experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead on-site from setup through teardown: oversee event logistics, timelines, staffing, and client deliverables
Recruit, train, and manage brand ambassadors, supervisors, or event staff for each activation
Serve as the primary on-site liaison to clients, vendors, venues, and local teams
Ensure quality control and consistency of brand experience (look & feel, messaging, interactions)
Troubleshoot real-time issues (weather delays, equipment failure, staff no-shows, crowd flow)
Monitor metrics during activations (traffic, leads captured, sample distribution, engagement)
Collect data, observations, and feedback to report post-event insights and learnings
Manage inventory of promotional materials, collateral, equipment, and ensure return/transport
Coordinate with internal teams (creative, operations, logistics, client services) to align execution
Enforce safety, compliance, and site protocols (permits, insurance, crowd control)
Provide coaching, feedback, and evaluations to field team members
Skills & Qualifications:
3-5+ years' experience in experiential marketing, brand activations, retail or events management
Strong leadership skills: managing people, motivating staff, conflict resolution
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and client-facing demeanor
Highly organized & detail-oriented, comfortable juggling multiple moving parts
Ability to stay calm under pressure and make quick decisions
Proficiency in using event software, reporting tools, mobile apps, spreadsheets
Comfortable with travel, flexible schedule, and being hands-on in field settings
Valid driver's license and ability to drive/coordinate transport of gear

Regular travel to event sites across NS or beyond (may include overnight stays)
