One of a network of provincial community health centres, the NorWest Community Health Centres is a community based, non-profit organization funded by Ontario Health, emphasizing access to primary health care and prevention programs and services.
We are currently seeking a 1 FTE Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Diagnostic Clinic Coordinator, a key member of the Community Health Centres' team who will provide leadership, coordination, and oversight for the delivery of high-quality, evidence-informed FASD diagnostic services. This role ensures a trauma-informed, culturally safe, interdisciplinary approach to assessment and care planning for children, youth, adults, and families.
The Coordinator is responsible for clinic operations, team coordination, quality improvement, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring adherence to provincial standards, including the Canadian FASD Diagnostic Guidelines. Acting as the central point of contact for referrals, triage, planning, and follow-up, the Lead ensures that clients and families receive timely, compassionate, and coordinated care. This position requires strong clinical knowledge, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to support both clients and professional team members throughout a complex and sensitive diagnostic process.
