One of a network of provincial community health centres, the NorWest Community Health Centres is a community based, non-profit organization funded by Ontario Health, emphasizing access to primary health care and prevention programs and services.

We are currently seeking a 1 FTE Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Diagnostic Clinic Coordinator, a key member of the Community Health Centres' team who will provide leadership, coordination, and oversight for the delivery of high-quality, evidence-informed FASD diagnostic services. This role ensures a trauma-informed, culturally safe, interdisciplinary approach to assessment and care planning for children, youth, adults, and families.



The Coordinator is responsible for clinic operations, team coordination, quality improvement, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring adherence to provincial standards, including the Canadian FASD Diagnostic Guidelines. Acting as the central point of contact for referrals, triage, planning, and follow-up, the Lead ensures that clients and families receive timely, compassionate, and coordinated care. This position requires strong clinical knowledge, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to support both clients and professional team members throughout a complex and sensitive diagnostic process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, or relevant health field. Master's degree preferred. Registration with a regulated professional body. 2-3 years of clinical experience with neurodevelopmental or complex care needs. Experience with clinic coordination. Knowledge of FASD, trauma, attachment, and neurodevelopment. Strong understanding of Canadian FASD Diagnostic Guidelines. Knowledge of trauma-informed and culturally safe practices. Excellent communication and facilitation skills. Strong organizational and data management abilities. Experience working with diverse populations across the lifespan. A current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
