WYNYARD, SASKATCHEWAN Job Details: Full time, Permanent General Description of Role: Reporting to the Director of Farm Operations, the Farm Manager is accountable for live growth production and maintenance of farm equipment/barns. The Farm Manager is responsible to ensure the health, welfare and humane handling of live animals daily. They are also responsible for the property in and around the operation. They will direct a staffing of up to 4 general farm labourers in the upkeep of all animals, barns and equipment. Primary Responsibilities:

- Accountable for ensuring quality production and growth/humane treatment of all live poultry.
- Accountable for barn management and ensuring proper maintenance of all equipment related to the growth and development.
- Responsible for 2-4 staff members.
- Accountable for the effective utilization of all company resources.
- Accountable for ensuring safe work practices and good manufacturing practices.
- Must demonstrate strong leadership/team building skills.
- Must have a minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
- Preference will be given to a candidate with 5 years poultry and barn management experience.
- Post-secondary education considered an asset.
- Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to use company computer and software applications.
- Farm management requires a flexible schedule depending on poultry cycle.
- On call 24 hours per day.
