Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the farm's productivity and ensuring that all operations run smoothly. This position requires physical stamina, a willingness to learn, and a passion for working outdoors.

Responsibilities

Assist in the irrigation of crops to ensure optimal growth and health. Maintain farm equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition. Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed for planting, harvesting, and transporting materials. Utilize hand tools and power tools for various farming activities. Operate equipment and farm machinery safely and efficiently. Support planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops in accordance with best practices. Help with garden maintenance, including weeding, pruning, and pest control. Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills

Experience with heavy lifting; ability to lift heavy loads regularly. Proficiency in using hand tools such as shovels, hoes, and rakes. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred but not required; training may be provided. Knowledge of farm machinery operation is beneficial. Mechanical knowledge to assist in troubleshooting minor equipment issues. A strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Willingness to learn new skills related to agriculture and farm management.
