Role Overview
We're hiring a
Partner Support Specialist
to be the operational backbone for our brokers, growers, and partners. You'll deliver day-to-day client support, streamline onboarding, assist with quotes and policy processing, coordinate claims information, and keep cross-functional work (Sales, Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Product) running smoothly. If you love helping people, tidying processes, and getting things done--with a bias for accuracy and empathetic service--this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Frontline Support:
Respond to partner and client inquiries (phone/email) with clear, timely answers about coverage, documents, and platform features.
Relationship Development:
Build strong, positive relationships with brokerage partners and agribusiness allies; proactively share tips, updates, and guidance.
Sales & Underwriting Ops:
Assist with quotes, proposals, intake packages, and document collection; track status and ensure complete, accurate files.
Claims Coordination:
Collect evidence and details, confirm information completeness, and route to the right teams to support timely, accurate claims handling.
Farm P&C (FarmElevate(TM)) Support:
Help the sales team with product inquiries, simple transactions, and the rollout/refinement of P&C workflows.
Billing & Invoicing:
Coordinate invoice processing, reconcile discrepancies, and liaise with Finance, Sales, and Underwriting for smooth transactions.
Issue Resolution:
Troubleshoot basic policy or platform issues; escalate efficiently to product/engineering or partners when needed.
Onboarding & Enablement:
Run light demos and onboarding sessions for new customers/partners; contribute to guides, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.
Documentation & Reporting:
Log interactions in the support/ticket system; prepare regular reports on activity, service levels, and recurring themes to inform improvements.
Events/Travel (Occasional):
Support farm shows, training sessions, or on-farm visits as needed (limited, pre-planned travel).
Qualifications
Required:
o 3+ years in an operations, client support, account coordination, or underwriting assistant role (insurance or financial services preferred).
o Detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable juggling multiple workstreams.
o Excellent written and verbal communication, with a friendly, service-driven approach.
o Excellent technical skills and strong familiarity with SaaS/digital brokerage tools (CRM/ticketing, spreadsheets, document workflows).
o Reside in
AB, SK, or MB
and legally entitled to work in Canada.
Preferred:
o Experience in
farm P&C and/or crop insurance
.
o Insurance broker/adjuster license (Level 1 or 2) is an asset.
o Experience in a startup/small team, building processes and playbooks.
o Familiarity with ag-tech tools, telematics, or farm management platforms.
