Walker Farms is a 4th generation cattle and grain farm located near Borden, Saskatchewan. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Farm Equipment Operator to join our team.

Applicants must reside within reasonable proximity to Borden, Saskatchewan to be eligible, as we do not have accommodations at this time.

Applicants must have a valid drivers' license and reliable transportation to get to and from work.

Responsibilities

Operating heavy farm equipment, especially during seeding, spraying, and harvest. As a farm, we generally work more than 40 hour work weeks. Performing repairs and maintenance on equipment, and general farm duties as required. Perform basic maintenance on the equipment and keep them "fire truck ready" Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills both verbally and digitally - we use google workspace email, chats, spaces, etc. for a majority of the farm communication

Experience

Proven experience operating farm equipment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Knowledge or experience in grain and/or cattle farming would be considered an asset but is not necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
