The Ridge Meadows Child Development Centre (RMCDC) is a community-based agency providing early intervention services to children and families in the communities of Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, and Katzie. We are currently seeking a temporary part-time 0.6 FTE (22.5 hrs/week) Family Resource Worker for our Enhanced Early Intervention Program (EEIP). The EEIP is part of the Pathway to Hope initiative. It aims to enhance family support services and child-parent attachment services for families who have children aged 0-6 that are at risk of developing a mental health diagnosis and already require two or more early intervention services in the community. The EEIP works in a collaborative relationship with families and existing service providers and seeks to accommodate families' already existing services and schedules. The core EEIP team includes Family Support Services, Infant Development and Aboriginal Infant Development Enhancement Services, Family Resource/Intervention Services, and Infant Mental Health Services. We provide service in a variety of environments, allowing staff to meet families where they are most comfortable, including in the community, at family homes, or at the Centre.
