Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit principles in our practice. Seeking Experienced Family Law Counsel JOB INFORMATION:
Nunavut Legal Aid is currently seeking family law lawyers. Working in one of our three offices in Nunavut (Iqaluit, Rankin Inlet, Cambridge Bay), you will be expected to:

• Provide advice and legal representation in a broad range of family law matters including, but not limited to, child welfare, custody, access (decision-making responsibility and parenting time), support, divorce and corollary relief.
• Regularly appear before the Nunavut Court of Justice.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Membership in good standing with a law society in Canada
• Ideally 3+ years experience in family law practice
• Ability to travel
• Indigenous Law Experience is an asset.
