Job Description

Our client a highly respected law firm located in Guelph is seeking a Family Law Clerk to add to their growing team.

If you have 2+ years experience in Family Law this opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Understanding of procedure and the Family Law Rules
- Prepare financial statements and Net Family Property (NFP) Statements
- Draft Orders, Applications, Answers, Briefs and other basic procedural forms
- Liaison with clients, opposing counsel and third party experts
- Administrative tasks including email and calendar management

Qualifications:

- Law Clerk or Legal Assistant designation
- Strong understanding in Family Law and the Rules
- Proficient in MS Office, Divorce Mate and PC Law
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and with a team
