Located in Barrie, Ontario, it is one of the oldest law firms in Simcoe County, tracing its roots back to 1871. The Firm is seeking a full-time family law clerk . Candidates of all levels of experience are encouraged to apply.The successful candidate will be conscientious, resourceful, detail-oriented and have excellent communications skills. The position will require the opening and closing of files, managing intake for new clients, drafting correspondence and pleadings, scheduling and maintaining calendars, preparing monthly accounts, and generally overseeing and maintaining all aspects of active family law files. Completion of law clerk program recognized by the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario and/or a paralegal diploma is a benefit not but required.The Firm offers competitive remuneration, a robust benefits package, and an excellent work environment.
