Family Law Clerk
SorbaraLaw is accepting applications for a family law clerk position in Markham, Ontario. SorbaraLaw is one of the largest and most respected full service regional law firms in Ontario. The firm offers very competitive salary and benefits.We are seeking a clerk with a minimum of 1 year experience in family law, who has the ability to:

• Create, organize and maintain physical and electronic files in online database;
• Directly communicate with clients and opposing counsel's firms as instructed;
• Draft and amend correspondence upon direction;
• Assist with the drafting and/or preparation of family law forms under the supervision of a lawyer; and
• Prepare reporting letters and accounts to clients.

Successful candidates must demonstrate the following:

• Excellent organization and time-management skills;
• Ability to work independently, accurately and efficiently on multiple files;
• Ability to meet deadlines while balancing different priorities;
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, DivorceMate, Spousal Support Advisory Guideline calculations, and/or CaseLines is valued;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and
• Strong attention to detail.
