Position Overview:



We are seeking a motivated

Family Law Clerk / Legal Administrator

to join our practice. This role is ideal for someone who has administrative experience in a legal or professional setting. New graduates and young professionals eager to gain hands-on experience in family law are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:



Draft, prepare, and organize legal documents, correspondence, and court materials Manage client files and maintain accurate records Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and assist with client communications Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, and other parties as needed Support lawyers with document management and billing tasks Assist with general office management tasks

Qualifications:



Diploma or degree in a related field, preference given to those with legal or administrative qualifications Previous experience in an office or administrative setting is an asset Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) Proficiency with PC Law & Divorcemate software is an asset Ability to manage multiple priorities Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
