This is a full-time permanent job opportunity working 40 hours a week.

We are looking for a highly talented and motivated Facility Service Supervisor who will report to Facility Services Manager and assist in overseeing building services, facilities, and all office services of Thorwin Properties to ensure optimal utilization and efficiency.



What You Will Be Doing:

• Manage, motivate, develop, and provide direct leadership to service technicians.
• Supervise repairs carried out by maintenance staff and/or vendors.
• Evaluate incoming work notifications and, when warranted, generate, and prioritize a work order to cover the work.
• Ensure that all scheduled work orders are completed in the allocated time.
• Prepare, allocate and schedule Work Orders to the maintenance personnel.
• Review completed work orders for correctness and completeness.
• Perform periodic inspections of repairs, unit turnover, and recently maintained equipment to observe the quality of the maintenance performed and the operating condition of the equipment.
• Perform Annual Building Inspection.
• Liaise with Property Operations on matters relating to equipment maintenance and availability.
• Maintain compliance with company and provincial regulatory standards, including but not limited to, occupational health and safety, strategic sourcing and vendor management, privacy and security.
• Demonstrate an active involvement/commitment to a progressive health and safety program.
• Coordinate and enforce safety and security protocols across all company facilities.
• Lead team to meet and exceed key performance indicators, fostering the professional development of each personnel.
• Work closely with the Manager, Facilities Services on facility management initiatives and future development planning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in facilities management or a related field, including experience with fleet vehicle management.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field, considered an asset.
• Demonstrated ability in building operations, including maintenance, renovations, safety, and security management.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills with experience in supporting contract management with third-party service providers.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering professional development and high performance.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
• Familiarity with facilities management software (YARDI) considered an asset.
