Reporting to the Manager of Support Services, the Food Services Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day hands-on operation of the Food Services department at the facility. Will work towards continuously improving the environment and quality of services.

Job Responsibilities

Conducts daily audits Support and supervision of all staff Generates weekly orders for food and supplies Ensures all elements of meals are produced and delivered appropriately Assists with preparation of schedules for staff and modifies schedules as required Assists with the implementation of ARAMARK programs and controls Demonstrates a proactive approach with regard to client concerns and expectations. Coordinate's catering, special project work, and other activities that effect the daily operation of the location. Responsible for ensuring equipment is in proper operating condition and arranging for repairs as needed Assists with the coordination and implementation of front-line job routines and duties. Covers sick and vacation time as needed

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Must have the physical capabilities required for constant walking and performing project work Provide a clean Criminal Record Check

Preferred:*
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Foodservices/Hospitality within a medium or large healthcare organization Degree in hospitality/nutrition management or equivalent Knowledge and understanding of regulatory such as Advanced FST, WHMIS, OH&S and Infection Control In addition, incumbent must be flexible and adapt easily to changes in schedule, work assignments and environment. Must be willing and capable of working in fast paced environment.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).




Pay Rate: $28.65
